Since this is the Hardtail edition, the standard-issue Strat tremolo assembly has been ripped out and replaced with a fixed six-saddle bridge - so there are no moving parts - just a solid base that results in improved vibrational transfer from the strings to the body. In other words: better resonance and better sustain. The playability is just as solid thanks to the snug feel of the C-profile maple neck and the light touch of the twenty-one-strong set of medium-jumbo frets.
