Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster '50s Vintage Blonde MN

Wouldn't normally leave a five star rating because often I find them hard to believe but this guitar deserves it. I also own an Affinity Tele so most of my comparisons will be to that as it's the only reference I have.



Finish on the CV50's is outstanding. The vintage blonde is something a little different, pictures don't really do it justice. The neck, my lord the neck! One of the most exhuberant, luxurious feeling necks I've played on. Guitar is set up very well and there was a card included which recorded the string heights at 1st + 12th frets as part of the inspection. Not seen this before and was highly welcomed. 9's as with my Affinity feel a bit tight so will swap for 8's soon but string heights are good and low-ish, intonation good, all frets level, no warp, no twangs. You could fire arrows from this neck and still play in tune after. It seems to keep it's tuning well and was quick to tune up in the beginning. Pickups way hotter than affinity and bridge is darker.

Ik heb onlangs deze gitaar gekocht.....wat zal ik zeggen....geweldig gewoon...wat een afwerking en speelt als boter.

Jackinput wel even wat strakker buigen en als je er een setje Texas specials in stopt en locking tuners op zet is ie net zo goed als zijn 3 keer zo dure broertjes, echt waar!

Deze squier telecaster ziet er prachtig uit, mooie, iets doorschijnende lak. Speelt ook goed, de hals voelt stevig, robuust aan, niet te stroef, niet te glad en geen scherpe frets. De hardware vind ik wel van iets mindere kwaliteit, met name waar de gitaarkabel in moet, de jackplate, draait snel los.

Dont let the price fool you because this guitar is solid. It simply rocks and you can even record with it if you want to. If you are looking for a 2nd guitar or a tele for a budget look no further than the classic vibe series. You wont be disappointed.

Ik gebruik hem met een Fender VibroChamp en klinkt zowel clean als met een randje hemels.
