If you're drooling over a Fender Jazzmaster, but don't quite have the budget, then allow Squier to put that timeless sound, look and playing feel in your hands in the style-packed form of the Affinity Series Jazzmaster. Just like the original, this model comes mounted with a pair of single-coils complete with block housings, and the clean control section of a three-way selector switch and a set of tone and volume pots per pickup. Dial in your best-loved tonal profile, and enjoy the notoriously comfy feel of the lightweight, offset body and C-profile maple neck. In terms of hardware, you get the dependable tuning of a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge loaded with six block saddles and a set of split-shaft closed oil-bed machine heads.

Gekocht op de gok, was een aanbieding.
Fantastische hals, tremolo werkt keurig, beter dan op menig Stratocaster.
Geluid is warmer en minder ijzig dan een Stratocaster. Hoge output van de pick-ups, dus lekker scheuren. En dat allemaal voor die prijs! Gaat nooit meer weg!

Ik had nog geen Jazzmaster , dus een mooie gelegenheid om er een te kopen.

Deze spotgoedkope Jazzmaster is een echte verrassing. Ik heb al een Fender TVL Jazzmaster, en ik wou gewoon 'eentje voor erbij''. Maar deze Affinity kan heel goed meekomen, qua klank en bespeelbaarheid. Het is de eerste Squier waar ik behalve intonatie helemaal niets aan heb hoeven doen. De actie was goed, de frets zijn niet superglad, maar ook niet schuurpapierachtig, en ze steken nergens uit. De keramische elementjes zijn ook niet verkeerd. Ik was aangenaam verrast!
