Echt een geweldige gitaar. Prachtige afwerking en goede speelbaarheid out of the box. Fijne hals en zeer lichte body. Kortom een hele fijne gitaar voor een mooie prijs. Ik zou zeggen gewoon doen!

The guitar is simply gorgeous. If you like your guitar to look different from the classic colours, this is the one to go for.

It's pretty much a Squier Classic Vibe but with nicer colour options and gold pick guard but totally worth the price difference (a pretty unique color)
The neck feels amazing, tuner heads are surprisingly good they keep the guitar in tune for days and they are quite precise. Pots also feel good, they have a nice smooth feeling when turning the volume or tones. Pickup switch is good too and the whammy bar is just ok (nothing special).
Guitar comes with 09' strings.

Where the guitar shines is the tone you get with these pickups. Even with a cheaper amp (the Champion 20 from Fender) you get really good clean tones similar to a Fender strat. Hard to put aside and not play it all day!

Some cons i noticed with the guitar are mainly due to the setup, but that is normal even with more expensive instruments.
Strings need to be replaced as they are already old, the intonation could be a bit better (2 of the 6 strings are not properly intonated), the action could be a bit lower but that is just preference.
A few tweaks you could easily do yourself or bring the guitar to the BaxShop store and they will help you out :)

Wat een prachtige gitaar zeg!

Super netjes verpakt net als een Gretsch. Het uitpakken is al een feest op zich.

Uit de verpakking komt echter de beste verrassing ooit!
Of ik heb geluk met dit exemplaar oftewel Squier Indonesia verdient heel veel lof voor de kwaliteit gitaren welke momenteel uit de productie komt.

De hals is werkelijk fan-tas-ties! Mooie gerolde zijden, perfecte iets flinkere frets dan normaliter op een Classic Vibe Squier, heerlijke amberkleurige matte lak op rug van hals en toets, geen dead spots nee mooi gepolijste frets bijna gePLEKt met een machine lijkt wel, dit tesamen met de vintage stalen Squier zadels en de perfect ingevijlde benen topkam maken dat zelfs de oude snaren uit 2022 nog heerlijk klinken!

De Alnico 5 pickups zijn, ook al zijn ze in een plastic behuizing verwerkt, boven verwachting en klinken werkelijk als volwassen stratocaster pickups. Met metingen tussen de 5,81 kHz( neck) en 6,5 kHz (brug) heb je waarempel vergelijkbaar materiaal als een set vintage Fender pickups.

De body is een mahonie like product, ook geen Nato hout maar het is goed resonant en lekker licht, het houdt de gitaar lekker in balans en fijn bespeelbaar. De afwerking is onberispelijk, op een enkel scherp schroefkopje van de prachtige geanodiseerde alu slagplaat na. Schuurpapiertje erover en klaar!

De afstelling / quality control is ook feilloos!
Na het op stemming draaien met de fijne vintage tuners is alles meteen ook perfect geïntoneerd.
Ook de actiehoogte is goed voor mijn smaak en er kan meteen vol gas gespeeld worden!

Aanrader dus deze gitaar! Kies je kleur al zijn alle drie de matte stratocaster uitvoeringen even mooi!
Ik heb de Wide Sunburst ook gekocht en misschien besluit ik nog wel om de Sonic Blue ook te bestellen.

Beter als dit soort Squiers wordt het niet. Get it while you can! Cheers!
