General
The SL2 MAH BCSB is part of the Pro Series by Jackson, which means that you get excellent quality at an exceptionally friendly price. That you're dealing with a high-quality instrument becomes clear when you look at its stylish Burnt Cherry Sunburst finish on top of the quilted maple veneer. In contrast to the regular SL2 guitars, there's a mahogany body underneath that layer of veneer. This provides a warm acoustic base with a nice bite to it, thanks to a graphite-reinforced neck-through-body maple neck with ebony fretboard.
Jackson Pro Soloist SL2 MAH BCSB: humbuckers, neck and dive bombs
When it comes to amplification, this Jackson Pro Soloist is equipped with a legendary humbucker combination by Seymour Duncan - the neck pickup is a '59 and you can find a JB trembucker at the bridge. The result is a versatile electric sound that ranges from heavy to clean. For optimal playing comfort, the SL2 MAH BCSB also features a compound radius, speed neck and jumbo frets. Last but not least, this high-quality Jackson solid–body has a recessed Floyd Rose that allows you to make the most spectacular dive bombs.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand Jackson Guitars was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson guitars have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers and a powerful sound that’s perfect for metal and hard rock. The Pro Series features many of the specifications of the handmade USA series, but comes at a much more affordable price.
