General
What a machine. This premium Jackson is designed by professionals, for serious guitar lovers and Periphery fans. Misha Mansoor is a true perfectionist and knew exactly how he wanted this signature guitar to look like. Because this seven-string Jackson has a slightly longer scale (26.5 inches), the strings have a bit more tension, perfect for tight and fast riffs. As this model is built to order, you're guaranteed that your instrument has received the love and attention it deserves. This matte Blue Frost version is a true eye-catcher.
Top quality
It is absolutely clear that the Jackson HT7 is of an incredibly high quality. All the guitar's components have been designed for stability and a long-lasting performance. Mansoor's signature 'Juggernaut' humbuckers ensure an enormous power, making it extremely easy to produce fat, high-gain sounds. These pickups have been designed specifically for the basswood body of this guitar. The Hipshot locking tuners and fixed bridge guarantee great tuning stability, even during the most complex riffs. One special detail is the very flat ebony fretboard, which features fluorescent dots on the side - even on the darkest stage you can strike the right notes.
Misha Mansoor
As the founder of progressive metal band Periphery, Misha Mansoor is often considered a pioneer of Djent music. His style is characterised by high gain and heavy palm-muted chords, in combination with complex polyrhythmics and virtuoso solos. Mansoor also works as a producer and songwriter - he co-write the debut album of another Djent sensation, Animals As Leaders. He also produces all of Periphery’s material. 2015 marks the ten-year anniversary of the band, looking back on some of the most innovative metal albums of the decade.
