General
Because the King V solid body is such a popular guitar model, Jackson made it part of the X series. The striking KVXT is fitted with a basswood (linden) body with beautiful Cherry Sunburst lacquer, a tasteful laminated top made of flamed maple, and a fixed fully-adjustable TonePros bridge. With a Speed Neck and a compound radius, this is the perfect guitar for comfortably playing solos high up the neck and rhythms at the lower positions.
Jackson KVXT Cherry Sunburst: modern and traditional
Because the through-body construction of the KVXT is completed with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard, you get a fully balanced guitar sound with pleasant sustain. Amplification is taken care of by means of two passive EMG HZ humbuckers - an H4-B bridge pickup and an H4-AN neck pickup. This perfectly matched set of modern (ceramic) and traditional (alnico) results in tight bass, full mids, and clear trebles.
