General

Jackson guitars and rough music styles such as metal and hard rock, go hand in hand. From its tearing sound to the sharp design and shark fin inlays on the fretboard, everything plays a part in Jackson's wild reputation. The Jackson Guitars KEXMG Kelly Gloss Black is no exception. It's a rough-looking Jackson solid body with the looks of a much more expensive model but with an attractive price tag. This is what the X Series is known for. The gloss, deep-black colour of the body greatly contributes to the dark atmosphere of the genre thatthis guitar excels in.
The sound of the Jackson Guitars KEXMG Kelly Gloss Black
The basswood body is an important aspect for a Jackson solid body as this wood type emphasises low and mid tones, which has been an excellent choice for shredding since the eighties. The maple neck provides clear tones and adds longer sustain. The rosewood fretboard also contributes to the tone as it adds a bit of richness and warmth. In other words, this Jackson is made of the good stuff.
Tremolo and pickups
Thanks to the Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge, you'll be able to perform without any worries whatsoever. Because the tremolo allows you to bend the pitch upwards as well as downwards, you can add a lot of intensity and expression to your leads. Thanks to a special clamp in the string nut, the guitar remains in tune for a longer period of time. The duo of EMG humbuckers can be switched into different configurations, for the perfect power chords and for your best shredding performance ever.
