For anyone who loves offset guitars, the Ibanez Talman models are definitely worth a look. Where other manufacturers often deck these kinds of guitars out with humbuckers or P-90-like soapbar pickups, Ibanez chose a different path. For the TM-302 in an immaculate Ivory finish, they sought inspiration from the famous TE-style models. It features a feisty pickup at the bridge, and a slightly more mild-mannered one at the neck, offering vintage-style twang in a refreshing new package.

Know your classics

With an alder body and a maple neck, Ibanez follows a tried-and-true recipe for a full sound with tight bass, rich mids and sharp trebles. Furthermore, the TM-302 features a rosewood fretboard that adds a warm touch to the overall sound. All in all, it's a great base for the two Ibanez single-coils.

Modern comfort

Naturally, Ibanez ensures that the Talman is comfortable to play. For instance, the body features Ibanez's own fast access heel, that allows for easy access to the highest frets. Heel blij mee! Voor dat geld zeker een topding. Heeft een eigen karakter, telecasterachtig geluid. Goede afwerking, degelijk ding. Lockingtuners! Goed fretwerk, snelle hals. Aan alle kanten comfortabel. Enige nadeel tot nu toe: een statische pickguard. Telkens storende bijgeluiden tijdens spelen. Blerk de pickguard te zijn. Dit opgelost door de boel los te halen en de hele binnenkant te isoleren met aluminium tape ook de achterkant van de pickguard. Daarna geen last meer. ( faraday kooi) heb meerdere gitaren, ook fenders en ibanez prestiges. Deze doet nergens voor onder...
