General
Since its introduction in the early '50s, the American ST model has seen constant adjustment and improvement. However, tradition often got in the way of true innovation. Luckily, Ibanez has none of those restrictions. As such, the Japanese guitar company could go all out in designing the ultimate guitar with an SSS pickup configuration. They've kept everything that worked in the past, and changed what they felt needed changing. The result is the Ibanez Talman TM1730 Prestige model.
Golden oldies
If it's not broken, then you shouldn't fix it. That's why Ibanez chose to combine an alder body with a maple neck - a tried-and-true recipe that guarantees a powerful core sound with tight bass, plenty of mids and bright trebles. The trebles are further emphasised by the maple fretboard. Furthermore, while the pickup configuration has remained classic, the pickups themselves were brought firmly into the 21st century. Ibanez chose to use Seymour Duncan SSL-52 pickups with plenty of single-coil sparkle, but more output and body.
The Ibanez Prestige series
The Ibanez Prestige series guitars are all manufactured with the greatest care, and each one has its own sound and character. Like all Prestige instruments, this solid-body guitar was made in the Ibanez workshop in Japan and lives up to the company's highest standards. Ibanez chose wood types with excellent resonance and great tonal properties, and used great-quality hardware and pickups. To top it all off, it features a stunning finish. Ibanez Prestige guitars are among the best guitars that the company makes.
