The Ibanez TAM100 Tosin Abasi is an electric guitar with eight strings and is a Signature model. The eight DiMarzio HSH pickup configurations give you a wide range of tone colours and with the volume control and tone control you can adjust the final details of your sound. The beautiful sky blue body made of quilted maple and the neck made of wenge contribute to the great-sounding, bright and direct sound. The most striking features are, of course, the eight strings of the TAM100. This is quite uncommon but this extra wide frequency range offers you an extra amount of musical possibilities. This is also the reason why TAM100 is equipped with the special Ibanez FX Edge III-8 double locking fixed bridge.
Tosin Abasi
The self-taught man Abasi (1983) is especially prominent in progressive, jazz and experimental music and his first albums were released by PSI and Reflux. After studying at the Atlanta Institute of Music, Abasi felt confident enough to start his own solo project, Animals as Leaders. Later, Abasi formed the group T.R.A.M. A large amount of Abasi's guitars are Ibanez models with seven and eight strings.
