When you are holding an instrument from Ibanez's Prestige series, you'll really hear and feel the quality of this Japan-made guitar. This solid-body is made of high-quality materials. Its body, for instance, is made of mahogany and has a beautiful Transparent Black Sunburst finish. The neck is a Super Wizard HP, made of five parts maple and walnut wood. It has a rosewood fretboard with white, offset position markers.

The S5570-TKS has an exceptionally fast neck because it has a fretboard radius of almost 17 inches and a very smooth surface. This means that you can bend the strings in any position without any muffling of nearby strings. This allows for a very low action which the speed demons among the guitarists will definitely like to hear. The fretboard has 24 jumbo-size frets with comfortably rounded edges due to the Prestige fret treatment.
Lo-pro Edge Tremolo & HSH
For extra expression you can use the tremolo bar which is part of the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge. This highly stable bridge has a locking nut, so you can use the tremolo to your heart's content without detuning the guitar. The Ibanez S5570 has a great pick-up line with its Hot Grinder HGD1 humbucker, an ST2 single coil and a Hot Grinder HGD2 humbucker (HSH-configuration). The humbuckers were specifically designed for the S series and offer great dynamics and a full sound. The single coil (with ceramic magnet) adds a great sparkling sound.
