General
Fender's Player Telecaster PF is an electric guitar with a dark-coloured fretboard made of pau ferro that adds an extra touch of sweetness to the renowned Tele twang. The Player series follows on from the highly-popular Standard series and offers the same great value for money. This version even has the same string-through-body Tele bridge with 6 bent steel saddles that you get on the more expensive American models.
Player Telecaster PF: pickups, sound and playing comfort
This guitar is equipped with two Alnico 5 Tele single-coil pickups that were newly designed especially for the Player series. They deliver the full, bright Tele sound to your amplifier and you can find just the tone you're looking for using the volume and tone controls along with the 3-way pickup switch. For optimal playing comfort, the maple neck has a modern C profile with a smooth satin-gloss finish and the fretboard has a familiar 9.5-inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Alder body, stable tuning
The Player Telecaster PF is made in Mexico and has a body made of alder with a high-gloss finish. The string nut is made of synthetic bone and this, together with the standard, sealed self-lubricating machine heads, ensures stable tuning. If you're looking for an attractively-priced Fender Telecaster, the Player PF is an excellent choice.
