Fender Mike McCready Stratocaster RW 3-Color Sunburst Electric Guitar with Deluxe Case

Ik ben zeer tevreden over de gitaar heb een exemplaar uit de winkel dus waarschijnlijk was deze wel goed afgesteld.
Hij heeft een alder body en een mooie donkere rosewood fingerboard in tegenstelling tot goedkopere MIM strats.
De mijne speelt lekkerder als een andere strat die ik ook in bezit heb.
Over de pickups ben ik ook zeer tevreden . De relic is geweldig en geeft het spelen op de gitaar toch een apart gevoel. Ondanks dat ie een hoop geld kost is dit toch de closest thing you can get als je niet genoeg geld hebt voor een customshop USA relict strat..

Après un bon réglage et un changement de micros car les originaux sont horriblement criard, c'est une bonne stratocaster.

I bought this Fender Mike Mccready Signature strat from Bax Music as a 'B Stock' item. Very cool it is too. I did a slight tightning of the truss rod and some minor saddle adjustment and it was good to go. All was fine. No issues.
I could also tell it had barely been played ( if at all) so its worth keeping an eye on Bax music 'B stock' items as I got this for a very good price.
Just one thing to mention, the neck profiles can vary a little on these guitars based on my experience. I bought one from another popular UK music retailer but sent it back due to sharp fret ends.

I actually prefer slimmer neck profiles but i found the first one i bought a little too slim, the second one i bought from Bax was better. Its a little bit more 'chunkier' profile wise, Its still 'slim' but a chunkier slim.....
As for the guitar itself, I've been finding it really impressive, the pickups are the best I've heard in a Fender strat, custom shop quality through and through. The playability is really cool too and you may find this guitar hard to put down once you start playing it. Excellent woody tone and resonance.

The heavy 'relic' finish on this guitar has divided people based on online reviews. What I will say is that from a distance it looks really cool and if you're in a band like me, thats a good thing. I'm not saying the relic finish is naff closer up, but it's definitely better from a distance.
When these Mike Mcready Signature Strats were first released in the UK the selling price was circa £1'700 which I think is bit too steep price wise considering you could get a second hand Fender custom shop strat for a bit more, which would definitely have a more professional relic finish.

But from the £1000 to £1300 price range this guitar is defintely worth the money in my opinion especially considering the nitrocellulose finish, its overall playability and the pickups that would be hard to beat on any Strat. They really are that good........its a very impressive guitar for sure.

Op de brug na die onder de zadels vastgeschroefd is waardoor de tremolo niet echt bruikbaar is,… best een heel coole super vlot bespeelbare gitaar met comfortabele nek. De relic is echt goed gedaan.

Ontzettend aan de prijs voor een in Mexico gefabriceerde Stratocaster. Hij zal best goed zijn maar op de dag van aankoop zakt het 50 % in waarde

Deze gitaar vond ik persoonlijk erg tegen vallen. Afstelling en fretwerk was vanuit de fabriek erg slecht. Dit was ook niet zomaar te verhelpen, daarom de gitaar terug gebracht naar de winkel. Misschien had ik een maandagochtend gitaar, maar Ik had van Fender echt wel meer verwacht. Zeker voor deze prijs. Service van Bax prima in orde met betrekking tot mijn klachten over deze gitaar en de retourprocedure.
