The Classic Player Baja Telecaster '60s is the latest version out of Fender's renowned series. This popular model was designed by master guitar builder Chris Fleming who fitted the classic model with several modern improvements. The result is a Telecaster with immense playing comfort and a rich sound. This Telecaster has a classic 3-tone Sunburst finish and a rosewood fretboard.
A modern classic
Many has changed since the Baja Telecaster '50s. A rosewood fretboard provides this guitar with a warmer, rounder sound, and the American Vintage Tele pickups offer you a choice from a wide range of different sounds. Switching between pickups is easy with the pickup switch. The C-profile neck is comfortable to play on, reducing the risk of straining your hands. The Baja Telecaster '60s combines the looks of the classic guitar with the playability of a modern instrument, making it a hugely versatile Telecaster. It comes with a luxury gig bag.
Classic Player series guitars
Guitars from the Classic Player series, sprung from the Classic line, are modelled after traditional Telecasters, Stratocasters, Jazzmasters and Jaguars, but are extra notable because of the addition of several special, modern features. For instance, they offer a choice from a broad selection of pickups (ranging from classic pickups to modern, high-output versions), and each model features a relatively flat fretboard radius for extra comfortable playing. Additionally, instruments from this series - introduced in 2006 - are characterised by a vintage-style neck profile.
