General
Fender's American Standard Telecaster HH combines the modern features and classic styling of the American Standard series with a double humbucker pickup configuration, it is the guitar equivalent of the car-industry's classic hotrod: a timeless look with several modern upgrades and some extra horsepower under the bonnet. The Olympic White finish makes this guitar look rather smashing. The white body and pickguard combine beautifully with the maple fretboard.
American Standard Telecaster HH
In addition to the upgrades that come standard on a guitar from the American Standard series, this Telecaster is equipped with two incredibly powerful Fender Twin Head Humbuckers. The covered pickup at the neck produces a powerful, rich and warm sound while the bridge pickup adds a bit more bite, emphasised by the one-piece maple neck. The neck is one of the most-appreciated properties of the American Standard series. The maple neck offers you immense playing comfort thanks to 22 medium jumbo frets, a (flatter) 9.5-inch fretboard radius and a Bi-Flex (two-way) truss rod system that allow for a very low action without buzzing.
American Standard upgrades
The classic, beloved design of the Telecaster has received various adaptations now it's part of the American Standard series, but all without being detrimental to the original model's attraction. The difficult-to-tune 3-saddle bridge is replaced by a Strat-style bridge with six individually adjustable saddles. The bridge is attached to the body with no fewer than 5 screws, creating an even better transference to the lightweight alder body. What remains is the distinctive Telecaster strings-through-body construction. Additionally, the body features a contour so that it rests against your body comfortably while playing.
