General
The Fender Jaguar, first introduced in 1962, is a highly-desirable electric guitar but the '60s originals don't come cheap. This American Original '60s Jaguar offers the same feel, look and sound for a more attractive price. Fender have taken care to ensure that everything about this iconic, offset model matches the original '60s design, from the wood types used, to the high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, to the hardware and electronics. All of these elements combine to offer a playing experience that comes very close to the iconic original itself.
American Original '60s Jaguar: Authentic Sound and Feel
The solid alder body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard form the basis of this Jaguar's sound. The two Pure Vintage '62 Single-Coil Jaguar pickups with enamel-covered coils ensure an authentic, amplified tone and each pickup has its own controls for volume and tone. This American Original '60s offset model is fitted with the trusted lead/rhythm circuit and 'Strangle' bass cut switch. For an original feel, Fender has finished this Jaguar with a classic 9.5-inch fretboard radius, 22 tall frets and a '60s C profile neck. If you play punk, grunge, alternative rock or surf, this model is probably right up your street.
