The deluxe Fazley Startist Plus ST118 electric guitar comes loaded with high-grade hardware and electronics and fierce, ST-style sound, putting outstanding comfort and playability within affordable reach. This solid student-model boasts the full support of a bridge and set of pickups made by Wilkinson, as well as GraphTech and Alpha components. It also comes complete with a gig bag.

The Startist Plus ST118: Deluxe Upgrades

The classic body of the Fazley ST118 has been made using high-density ash, giving this instrument its superb resonance and clarity which is further enhanced by the fitted GraphTech TUSQ nut. Mounted with a set of three Wilkinson MWVS single-coils; directly based on classic '60s pickups and loaded with ceramic magnets, this electric guitar has been fully set-up to deliver the incredibly versatile tone that ST-models are so renowned for.

Unrivalled Playing Comfort

Wilkinson have also taken care of the modern two-point tremolo bridge and set of six, flat-block saddle that not only firm-up intonation but provide a comfortable palm-rest for your playing hand. The Wilkinson machine heads make sure of solid tuning, the slightly flatter, 16-inch radius of the blackwood fretboard has a snug feel beneath the fingers, so chords and licks can be grabbed with a light, easy grip, finishing this solid Fazley-made guitar.

J'ai acquis cette petite guitare pour 88 euros , le prix de l'acastillage et des 3 micros. Elle sonne bien après réglages , des qu'on l'a demonte , là c'est pas joli joli la Fab , mais je ne me plains pas , j'adore le rose pop funky lady qui sera relooké bientôt.

Cette guitare est une catastrophe! Dès que vous regarder sous le capot, apparaissent les doubles trous, le masquage des faux pas de montage, une vilaine cale bricolée à la hâte sous le talon du manche… Je mets deux étoiles pour l’accastillage Wilkinson mais le contrôle qualité ne devrait pas accepter de livrer des guitares dans cet état.

where do i start?

bought this for £59.95 inc delivery - looking at the specs i thought this had to be some kind of mistake and almost anticipated a cancellation email

well, the order arrived in a timely manner and i was immediately blown away with the build quality - with the body being solid ash, it was reassuringly heavy - all frets were finished perfectly, intonation perfect and action completely satisfactory - with a quick retune it was ready to play instantly

so i plugged her in and had a go

it was immediately noticeable how fluid the neck is - i was up and down with ease - the wilkinson ceramic pups sound bright and clear - in fact this guitar sounds as good as the MIM fender strat i played recently

the graphtech nut holds the guitar in tune even after plummets on the whammy bar

the overall quality of the guitar is mind blowing considering the cost - im still in disbelief at how good this for under £60 - this was sold at a loss for sure

the only downside (which is minor) is that it didn’t come with the gig bag which would’ve been really useful nor the owners handbook

outside of that - this is a hell of a lot of real quality guitar with quality components for very very little money

100% satisfied and am looking forward to my next fazley to add to the collection

Bought this guitar for my daughter who wants to start playing.

Wilkinson hardware at this price is incredible. So I wasn't expecting too much as regards to the overall quality of the instrument.
But when it arrived I was shocked at just how good this guitar is. The pickups sound excellent. It also came with no set-up required. The intonation was in and it even had D'Addario strings on it!
No idea if they send them all out like this.
The neck is a little bit 'baseball bat' but I'm nit-picking.
Unbelievable value for money.

ALORS LA...

je viens d essayer une hendrix mexique super finition..que je vais renvoyer, (pas acheté sur bax)..car pire bien pire niveau frettage que la fazley artist et ne sonne pas mieux..peut etre moins bien..alors si vous savez regler une guitare et poncer deux ou trois frettes je vous conseille la fazley artist plus..du coup je vais peut etre meme m en recommander une et faire le boulot...desolé pour le post precedent meme siil etait "juste"...

voila ce que j appele un grand "dommage"...car les equipements sont reellements bons..mais la guitare est livrée assemblée avec rien de reglé.;absolument rien.;donc apres tatillonné serieux j ai finalement reussi a faire les reglages.chevalet interdisant l accordage.. manche incurvé.corde defectueuse ou une la en place de la ré.tirant different pour la mi aigu.etc etc.mais un defaut de lutherie redhibitoire sur les frettes NO 5 et 10 rendent cette guitare quasi inutilsable a moins d aimer le "frisage"..ou aimer poncer des frettes..ceci elles n etaient pas assez poncées..donc seulement ces deux frettes a poncer et pas toutes l une apres l autre..a deconseiller aux debutant donc..mais alors a qui peut s adresser ce produit sinon?peut etre a un amoureux des recuperations..perso je n ai pas voulu toucher les frettes, pour garantie eventuelle, ..en conclusion si ce genre d intervention de vous fait pas peur elle peut etre bien meilleure qu une squier.ce qu elle est surement...guitare retournée ce jour et dans l attente d un remboursement ou echange..je vous tiendrai au courant..
