The classic T-style shape of the mahogany body comes fitted with a just-as-classic bolt-on maple neck, but that's where tradition ends, since the maple fretboard has been loaded with a set of twenty-four frets to complete an extended note-range, while a pair of full-fat humbuckers have been mounted to double the output, setting this model up for more extreme, explosive work.

While you can't argue with the bite and twang of a classic Tele, the TE-200 pushes that timeless sound into a fresh dimension via an ESP Designed LH-150N humbucker planted at the neck, and an ESP Designed LH-150B humbucker at the bridge - both fully primed to fire off the high-output tone needed to back up brutal gains. This setup is supported by a classic, fuss-free control panel populated by a single volume pot, a single tone pot and three-way switch. Comfortable and agile shredding is lent the full support of a thinner, U-profile neck and combines with the light and effortless feel of a set of extra-jumbo frets. The headstock has been tilted and stripped clean of any string-trees to support lower tunings, and the fixed, string-through-body bridge ensures maximum resonance as well as firm tuning stability.
