The ESP Custom Shop is known for creating true works of art. Guitars shaped like angles, demons or medieval weapons - you name it, ESP's made a guitar of it. Unfortunately, those guitars usually have an equally impressive price tag. The LTD Burnt Tiger, however, is readily available to anyone who doesn't want to break the bank! This George Lynch signature model is based on one of his own Mr. Scary guitar designs, featuring the carved tiger stripes. Even the LTD logo was branded into the guitar, showing off just how much love and passion went into its creation. Of course, it comes with a case to keep it safe.

George Lynch Burnt Tiger: accents

One of this model's noteworthy features is its ebony fingerboard. This wood-type has a beautifully dark colour that's more commonly used in the more expensive guitar sector. With its high density, the ebony allows for a bright accent with a beautiful bite. The humbucker is direct-mounted, meaning it doesn't need to be attached to the pickguard. This improves the guitar's resonance and positively affects sustain and dynamics. Finally, thanks to the double-locking Floyd Rose tremolo, you can add all the vibrato effects you want without fear of detuning your guitar.

The ESP brand

In 1975, Hisatake Shibuya opened his Electric Sound Products shop in Japan. His high-quality replacement parts soon earned him the reputation he deserved, and it wasn't long before the shop started to turn out its very own guitars under the name ESP. In the 1980s, the brand got a real boost when numerous metal bands, such as Metallica, started to use its guitars. These days, ESP offers a wide range of versatile instruments, from high-grade Custom Shop models to the affordable LTD series.
