General

If you've been on the look-out for a metal guitar with a classic look, look no further. The ESP E-II Eclipse BB and its classically-shaped mahogany body may look a tad traditional but it's been outfitted with all the features that quick-fingered guitarists love. Active EMG's, locking tuners and an ebony fretboard work together well to ring the right tones, while the Black Satin finish, silver binding and tight curves emphasize this guitar's good looks.

Black Satin & Chrome

The Eclipse BB's paint job is stunning, right down to the little cover for the pickups power supply on the back. Speaking of which, the pickups are EMG's. There's a 60 at the neck and an 81 at the bridge and both sport brushed-chrome covers. These guarantee tons of output, can effortlessly handle lots of gain and come with individual volume controls. Combined with the master tone switch and a 3-way switch, this ESP E-II Eclipse BB offers a limitless amount of sounds.

Gotoh Wood

The dark fretboard on the E-II should immediately strike you. It's made of ebony and features 22 extra jumbo frets with pearloid flags for position markers. The 3-piece maple neck is a so-called set-thru, which means it's glued from the bridge pickup and runs through the body for enhanced sustain and tone. What's more, the mahogany body features a maple top with a Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge, while the headstock has been fitted with Gotoh locking tuners for a stable tone and tuning.
