General
The SG was introduced at the beginning of the '60s as the follow up to the Les Paul. This Vintage Worn G-400 is Epiphone's attractively-priced version of this iconic solid-body double-cut electric guitar. The fretboard has been 'aged' to give it an authentic look and it has Grover machine heads for excellent tuning stability. The G-400 has a maple neck with the renowned SlimTaper D profile and is set in to the mahogany body. There's a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and a LockTone Stopbar tailpiece that makes it quick and easy to change strings on the Epiphone G-400 too.
Vintage Worn G-400: Alnico Classic and Alnico Classic Plus humbuckers
This electric guitar has a 3-way pickup switch, two volume and two tone controls and it's equipped with two Alnico humbuckers. The Alnico Classic at the neck delivers a classic Alnico V sound, while the Alnico Classic Plus at the bridge offers a higher value when it comes to kOhms. All of this gives the Epiphone G-400 a rich tonal palette making it perfect for music styles like rock, blues and metal.
