General
The Danelectro '64 electric guitar comes in a number of bold colours, but for some people white is the loveliest of all. This Vintage White model with matching pickguard is especially for them. Completing the retro styling of this reversed offset model is chrome-plated and black hardware. For playing comfort, the '64 has a wider and flatter neck than you'd find on a real vintage model. It has a scale length of 25 inches with 22 jumbo frets. There's a zero fret on this model too that gives the open strings a truer ring.
From Twang to Crunch
Another feature that won't escape your notice is the dual Lipstick® bridge pickup that delivers a delicious crunch when played through an overdriven amp. Via the push/pull potentiometer, it's possible to split the pickup for a single-coil Lipstick® sound with twang and bite that's perfect for a variety of styles including surf, country, rockabilly or blues. Finally, a single-coil pickup in the neck position delivers a big sound with warm bass tones.
