General
Danelectro takes you back to the 1960s with the '64 electric guitar in Aqua Blue. Its vintage appearance is further enhanced by the chrome-plated hardware and the cream-coloured pickguard. When it comes to playing comfort however, this model embraces the present day with a wider, flatter neck profile and 22 medium jumbo frets. Other notable features include the Bigsby vibrato unit and a zero fret that gives the open strings a truer ring. Surf’s up!
Versatile Sound
From surf to classic rock, the Danelectro '64 can do it all. It's fitted with a dual humbucking Lipstick® pickup in the bridge position for a powerful crunch. Via the push/pull potentiometer, it's possible to split the pickup for a single-coil Lipstick® sound. In the neck position is a single-coil pickup in large vintage-style housing. Finishing off its retro look are hat-style volume and tone knobs and a cream-coloured pickguard.
