With the Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1, Charvel is going back to its roots. This model is essentially a traditional 'Hot Rod' guitar made for heavy rock and face-melting solos! The alder body is equipped with Seymour Duncan's renowned JB / '59 humbucker pickup combination. The volume knob has a push/pull coil split function which means the humbuckers can sound like single-coil pickups too. There's also a No-Load Tone Control that allows the tone potentiometer to be completely isolated leaving you with nothing but the guitar's own pure character.

Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1: optimal playing comfort

A great guitar not only needs to sound good, of course, it should be easy to play as well. That's why Charvel have given this model a compound radius fretboard. At the headstock, it's relatively rounded and measures 12 inches while it flattens out towards the body where it measures 16 inches. This design ensures that both chords and solos are easy and comfortable to play. The maple neck is reinforced with graphite which not only adds strength, it also enhances the tuning stability on this excellent electric guitar.
