The collaboration between Charvel and Satchel is a rather logical one. While Charvel made waves in the glam scene in the 1980s, Satchel and his band mates in Steel Panther have made a career for themselves by using their outrageous on stage personae to successfully parody the stereotypical glam metal lifestyle. Humorous lyrics and vulgar video clips can only take you so far, however, and it's clear that Satchel is actually a seriously good guitarist who knows exactly what he wants in an instrument. Now his sound and style is available to anyone.

Like many other artists today , Satchel has becomes a fan of Fishman. That's why there are two Fishman Fluence Classic PRF-CHB-NB1 humbucker pickups built into the alder body of this signature electric guitar. The push/pull function on the volume knob gives you the choice between two voices which means there are six different core sounds available in all. As well as being excellent for rock and metal, this Charvel is also capable of producing sparkling cleans and warm lead tones. The maple fretboard and compound radius make this model comfortable to play too and it's also equipped with a Floyd Rose tremolo.
