With the R-44-E from Roland, you're equipped with a highly compact 4-channel, solid-state field recorder that's more than capable of supporting professional audio setups. The R-44 records audio at up to 24-bit/192 kHz directly to an SDHC card with a maximum capacity of 32GB. If the job can withstand a drop in sound quality or you're running short of SD memory, the bit depth can be switched from 24 to 16-bits and the sampling frequency can be adjusted between 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 96 kHz and 192 kHz. The built-in effects include a limiter, low-cut filter, 3-band EQ and 6-band GEQ, an enhancer and a DeEsser so that pro-quality recordings can even be post-produced on location.
