This is great if you're on the road a lot, as this affects the lifespan of light bulbs.
Thanks to the flexible gooseneck, you can have the light shine exactly where you like it. You can turn the lamp on or off with a switch, which is very practical if you like to have it off sometimes (also saving on burning hours). The lamp can be fastened to nearly anything (think of sheet music stands, lecterns, tabletops and other objects that have a thin edge) thanks to the screw clamp.
