If your child already plays a different instrument, then as long as it can be picked up by the microphone of your device, it can be used to play along as well. For the best results, it's recommended to use the app with a set of headphones, but if your child prefers to play without headphones, then the microphone sensitivity of your device may need to set to a higher level.
