The Roland Torcido is the distortion effect module in Roland's Eurorack range. Distortion isn't the most subtle of effects; apply it to a bass sound with a resonating filter and you'll know exactly what we mean. Characteristics of the Roland Torcido

This 21HP Eurorack module can be mounted in a rack, of course, but it's also possible to just place it on your desk. Featuring modern technology, it can be programmed using an external PC or Mac, or even an iOS or Android device. Astute observers may have already spotted the word 'tube' on the module's front panel. Indeed, the Torcido is capable of producing that recognisable tube sound that goes so well with a distortion effect. Just like the Eurorack effect's low-frequency boost, it can be tweaked at will.
