Eventide can simply be trusted when it comes to effects units. We've known this for decades now and, while anyone who's even stepped into a studio will know of their mighty (albeit expensive) rack effects, the Eventide Euro DDL delay is something a little smaller; a little more humble since this slight unit can be mounted in a Eurorack frame next to other effects or synth modules. This may be a simple delay but it comes with deliciously complex digital and analogue tweaking potential.
Feature of the Eventide Euro DDL
Eventide have kept the electronic guts of this digital module fairly basic, leaving more than enough room for its additional analogue components. As such, the saturation-clipping, filter, feedback, insert-loop and +20dB boost are fully analogue. The delay time can be made so short that comb filters can be created. Insanely long delay times are also possible as well as infinite delays and even regressive delays, completing a highly complex and incredibly simple chunk of Eurorack-sized tech.
