Throwing things back through time while throwing in some nice modern updates, the Fender Poodle Case is still compatible with any Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster and bears the same timeless looks, yet boasts a space-saving low-profile design. Originally released in 1954, this classic hardcase is made from birch plywood, coated in artfully worn faux-leather and fitted with gold hardware. Inside, the soft red plush lining hugs your guitar on all sides, while any case candy like picks, spare strings, and a strap can be stashed away in the compartment concealed beneath the neck rest. The reissued Fender Poodle Case has all the look and feel of the iconic original, but the lighter-weight and worry-free design of a modern case.

Escribió lo siguiente sobre Fender Poodle Case for Stratocaster®/Telecaster® (Brown)

Onlangs heb ik voor mijn (recent bij Bax gekochte) Strat een gitaarkoffer gekocht. Omdat de levering van de gitaar door DHL een groot drama was (Bax, stop a.j.b. met DHL) heb ik besloten de gitaarkoffer op te halen in Rotterdam.
Het is natuurlijk altijd een feestje om in de winkel te zijn, waarbij ik de persoonlijke benadering bijzonder waardeer.
Na het aangeven wat ik besteld had, heette de verkoper mij persoonlijk welkom met “Goedemorgen Kees”. Leuk, daar hou ik van!
Toen hij de doos gepakt had, vroeg hij mij bovendien: “Had jij een poedel, Kees?”

Tjonge, Bax heeft wel heel veel informatie over mij, want inderdaad heb ik vroeger een poedel gehad. Het hondje is al ruim 40 jaar hartstikke dood, maar toch 😊.

Gelukkig heeft Bax dit soort informatie niet, maar bleek de vraag te gaan over de naam van de gitaarkoffer: “een Fender Poodle case”. Tja dat klinkt toch hetzelfde als “poedel, Kees”😊
De Strat past perfect in de “Poodle Case” en het is een prachtige gitaarkoffer. Ik ben er blij mee!
M.a.w. altijd leuk om bij Bax iets te kopen.
