General

The Devine EQ-31X2 graphic equalizer is a 2U 19-inch model loaded with two channels with 31 frequency bands each that span 20 Hz to an impressive 20 kHz. Each of the 31 frequency bands has its own slider control, making this rack-ready bit of kit perfect for tweaking live audio. The EQ-31X2 can be used in stereo as well as dual mono mode, and features a low-pass filter that removes all frequencies under the 50 Hz to create more space for the rest of the frequency spectrum. Meanwhile, the full bypass option can be engaged to temporarily switch off the EQ-31X2 for A-B checking and, using the range switch, you can easily change the range from +/- 6dB to 12 dB to get bigger response curves.

Inputs & Outputs

Devine have equipped the EQ-31X2 with a balanced XLR input and output as well as balanced stereo jacks. What's great here is that the inputs and outputs can be linked together by, for instance, using the jack input in combination with the XLR output. In fact, the inputs and outputs can even be used to split signals when you want to connect another piece of gear.
