General

The Yamaha FG700S guitar has earned its reputation as a perfect instrument for starter guitarists. Not only is this affordable dreadnought comfortable to play, it also produces a remarkably full, rich tone. What's more, unlike most other guitars in the same price range, it is equipped with a solid top. Are you still not convinced? The attractive Sand Burst looks of this limited edition of the FG700S might just persuade you.

The construction of the Yamaha FG700S Sand Burst

Although most affordable entry-level guitars come with a laminated top, the Yamaha FG700S boasts a solid sitka spruce top. The sides and back of the guitar's body are made nato, a wood type with similar sound characteristics as mahogany. Its warmth and sustain perfectly complement the sparkle of the spruce top. The FG700S's nato neck is fitted with a 20-fret rosewood fretboard, ensuring warm overtones. Combined, all of these characteristics add up to a beautifully balanced core sound!

Yamaha's renowned, top-notch finish

Whether it's a hand-made model from the L series or a more budget-friendly instrument like this FG700, Yamaha makes sure that all of their guitars receive a high-quality finish. The body of the FG700S is finished with an ultra-thin glossy lacquer that doesn't affect the instrument's natural outstanding sound. The silk gloss finish on the back of the neck enhances grip and makes it easy to slide your hand along the neck. For a limited time only, the Yamaha FG700S is available with an attractive Sand Burst finish, and comes with a free Yamaha gig bag. Don't wait too long to make up your mind; you might miss out on this wonderful deal!
