The bass drum consists of seven plies and is 8 mm thick, resulting in a deep, powerful punch with excellent sustain and projection. This bass drum will undoubtedlyimpress everyone when you take it on stage or into the rehearsal space. The rest of the shell set consists of a 13 x 9-inch tom and a 16 x 16-inch floor tom. Both toms are made of six plies of birch and are 6mm thick, so they're sure to provide a solid sound. The shells are equipped with chrome plated Sound Arc hoops, which greatly enhances their sustain. To mount the 13-inch tom to a cymbal stand, this shell set comes with a special clamp. However, the kit is delivered without cymbals, snare drum or hardware. This shell set will cater to a wide variety of applications, but will mostly appeal to rock and jazz drummers.
