Tama's HP910LSW Speed Cobra bass drum pedal was designed to do it all. Many pedals focus their attention on either speed or power, emphasising just one of those factors and losing the other. The Speed Cobra is built for both power and speed, and that shows. It has a specially designed long footboard which transfers power to the beater in a more aggressive fashion, and which has a smooth surface to reduce friction and allow for more precise control. The footboard is set up at a specific angle to achieve the best balance between power and speed and Tama has tweaked the framework of the bearing, which means that, according to Tama, you need 20% less effort to achieve the same result in power and feel that you would on other pedals.
Furthermore, Tama has fitted the Speed Cobra with specially designed LiteSprockets, which are 40% lighter than the Iron Cobra's sprockets, and the FASTBALL bearings allow for maximum accuracy and smoothness, aided by the Speedo-Ring, which replaces the traditional rocker and reduces friction.
The Speed Cobra has many more features and is highly adjustable to suit your every need. In short, this is a professional pedal that promises to deliver extreme speed, while also providing plenty of power!

Toen ik hem binnenkreeg heb ik zeker een week zwaar getwijfeld of dit pendaal wel zo goed is als men zegt, ik kon er eigelijk niet goed mee overweg.
Het is eigelijk een Pluspunt van dit pendaal alleen heb ik het niet zo ervaren maar je kan echt bijna alles verstellen!!! (Alleen heb ik daar weinig verstand van...)
Dus nadat ik de veren losser had gedraaid, hoek van de kickers had aangepast en nog heel veel andere dingen had verandert met m'n drumleraar speelde hij ineens 10X beter!
Nu speel ik bijna elke dag langer dan een uur deze pendalen en heb ik niet eens kramp of pijn in m'n enkels terwijl ik dat met mijn andere dubbelbase uit een iets goedkoper segment wel had!
Heel veel mensen zeggen dat de speedcobra te vergelijken is met het lopen op wolken (niet dat ik daar veel ervaring mee heb) en dat je weinig hoeft te doen, ik snap opzich wel wat mensen bedoelen maar het is niet zo dat het echt vanzelf gaat! Dit pendaal komt sneller terug en hij beukt maar de skill blijft natuurlijk in je voeten zitten!
Ookal kost hij aardig wat, na een fase eraan wennen is hij het dubbel en dwars waard!
