Showtec Spectral M1000 par LED MKII Q4 Tour RGBW

General

The Showtec Spectral M1000 MKII Q4 tour RGBW LED par is the successor to the popular M800 LED par. As you might expect, the M1000 has a number of additional advantages, compared to the M800. The M1000 is, for instance, equipped with 7 quad-LEDs in RGBW colour mixing. These quad-LEDs contain four LEDs: a red, a green, a blue and a white one. This allows you to create pure white, something that RGB LED pars like the M800 cannot do. The M1000 is also powerful, with a light output of 3,000+ lumens and an intensity of 1,050+ lux at 5 metres. It produces a beam angle of 11.5 degrees and is compatible with DMX-512 operation. Thanks to its mobile design and wide lighting options, the Showtec Spectral M1000 MKII and ideal touring LED par.

Connectors and daisy chaining

At the read of the Showtec Spectral M1000 MKII is a display with interface for an easy-to-use setup. You can use it for manual adjustment of settings for a static colour or for automatic colour changes. Next to the display are multiple connectors. The top connectors are a PowerCon in and output, but the connectors at the left and right are most interesting as these are 3-pole and 5-pole DMX in and outputs. Via the master/slave function you can daisy chain multiple M1000 LED pars.

Housing and mounting

The housing of the Showtec Spectral M1000 MKII consists of aluminium with a black powder-coating finish and has an IP-20 rating. In front of the LEDs is a lens plate of hardened glass, so that these are well-protected from the elements. The internal mechanics of the M1000 are cooled via silent convection cooling. For mounting to, for instance, a truss system, a double mounting bracket is fastened to the housing. You can also use this bracket to stably position the LED par on the floor.
