The Roland G-5A VG Stratocaster is a top-level, limited edition electric guitar, built in the Fender factory in Corona, California. This American Standard Stratocaster is equipped with Roland's V-Guitar technology and has a beautiful Candy Apple Red finish. The maple neck is fitted with 22 frets and a rosewood fingerboard. In addition to the traditional Strat sound, the built-in Roland COSM electronics enable you to produce a diversity of guitar sounds, ranging from modelled electric to acoustic.

COSM technology of the G-5A VG Stratocaster

Thanks to Roland's amazing COSM technology, this VG Stratocaster is able to produce a wide range of different sounds. This one single instrument offers you the choice of 25 pickup and instrument tones, alternate tunings and 12-string guitar sounds. Alternate tunings can be directly accessed by means of the Tuning knob, which means you can play your next track in Drop D, DADGAD, baritone or Open G without having to walk off the stage or change instrument.

Wide range of tones

The VG Stratocaster five-way pickup selection switch and mode knob give you access to a wide range of modelled guitars, such as a vintage Start, a Telecaster, a Humbucker and even an arch-top jazz box. Steel-string and nylon-string acoustic tones are also available, as well as a sitar sound. Naturally, the VG Stratocaster's own, conventional guitar sound is of a top-notch quality too. By-pass the COSM electronics, and the single-coil pickups can be heard.
