The Pioneer DDJ-SX-N digital DJ controller has been given a golden make-over. This controller has been developed in cooperation with Serato for use with Serato DJ software. Each function of the software is represented by a control or a fader on the controller. As such, you can work intuitively with this powerful DJ software. This gold-coloured edition will have your DJ booth sparkle with pride!
A golden touch
Like its black and white counterparts, this DDJ-SX-N is a top-class DJ controller that allows you to control four decks. This Pioneer controller is equipped with a physical mixer that functions as a software mixer, but can be used as a stand-alone mixer as well. It enables you to connect external CD players or turntables. Each channel is fitted with extensive level indicators. The sixteen performance pads allow you to trigger loops, set hotcues and start samples. You can use them to control the Izoptope-powered effects as well. The DDJ-SX-N also offers a number of controls which make for easy real-time tweaking of effects. One of the most eye-catching features of the DDJ-SX-N are the large, touch-sensitive jog wheels. Like the touch strip, they allow you to search within tracks, but you can also use them for scratching purposes, a function that Serato DJ is famous for. The jog wheels have very low latency, which means you can scratch very accurately without any time delay between touching the jog wheels and the transmission of the signal. Another delightful feature of this Pioneer controller is the search strip, which enables you to search and work in a needle-drop way.
Serato DJ software
Serato DJ is a new software package and Pioneer have the honour to develop the first hardware that goes with it. One of the most distinctive features is the controller's four-deck support, which is represented by the channel selection per deck (1-3 and 2-4 selection) and the four channels of the mixer section. It turns the combination of Serato DJ and the DDJ-SW into an esteemed competitor for the popular Traktor software package. The mixer section offers a load button per channel for direct uploading of tracks, as well as a three-band EQ, LED VU meter, cue button and LPF/HPF filter, which are already familiar from the DJM-250 and other Pioneer mixers.

Enige wat ik er wel jammer aan vind is dat de Sync knop niet altijd goed werkt..
