General
The Minifooger MF Trem offers an authentic Moog effect in a compact pedal for guitarists and bass guitarists. This stomp box provides you with a sumptuous, unique tremolo effect with a wide range. It uses a balanced modulator circuit and a Sub Audio VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator), which enables you to create anything ranging from a classic Opto Tremolo to a fat, almost Phase or Chorus-like effect. With the MF Trem, you get the legendary analogue Moog sound in a compact, pedalboard-friendly unit that is able to withstand daily life on the road.
Intuitive controls of the Moog MF Trem
Despite its exceptionally flexible functionality, the MF Trem is easy to use. The Shape knob determines the waveform of the effect, enabling you to switch from vintage-style optical tremolo sounds to even a Rotary. You can create anything from sweet sine-like sounds to tight percussive rhythms. The speed of the effect can be controlled with the Speed knob, and the Depth knob determines the intensity of the tremolo effect. Set to minimum, the effect is quite subtle, but once you turn it up your sound starts to gallop and swing.
Tone control and CV input
With the MF Trem Minifooger it's even possible to add some colour to your tremolo effect. When the Tone knob is set to minimum, only the lower frequencies are affected, creating a more subtle sound that can be compared to a classic Rotary swirl or Phase-like effect. Turn it up, however, and your sound gets increasingly fat. As an additional feature, the MF Trem is fitted with a CV input (Controlled Voltage) - connect an optional Moog EP2 expression pedal or synth and you have hands-free access to the Speed control.
