The Mackie S525 is a passive full-range speaker, equipped with two 15-inch woofers and a 1-inch driver. It delivers the familiar Mackie power and boasts an impressive capacity of 600 watts RMS, making it the most powerful two-way speaker from the rugged S500 series. Combine it with the S518s subwoofer, the FRS amplifier and the SP260 processor, and you've got an optimised passive Mackie system.

The S525: optimally protected

Thanks to its protective corners and robust housing made entirely of wood, the Mackie S-525 can take a few hits. Its wooden cabinet also ensures an excellent acoustic response, and prevents bass tones from causing vibrations and rattling. A PVC vinyl finish keeps the speaker free from scratches and protects it from moisture. Finally, the S525 features a protective circuit that prevents the driver from getting damaged by reducing high frequencies.
