The Pa3X is equipped with special semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch that give you the same response as those of a regular piano. Thanks to a plethora of varied features and the collaborative input of TC Helicon, the Pa3X Arranger delivers an incredibly nuanced sound - even the subtlest adjustments in tone are accurately reproduced.
Digital performance thanks to internal memory
Boasting an internal memory of 256 MB - which can be expanded to 512 MB using an EXB-M256 memory card - this workstation almost resembles a computer. In addition to its super-fast processing power, the Pa3X Arranger sports a built-in battery that keeps a backup of factory and user data available at all times. Not only are your data always safely stored, it also minimises the start-up time of the workstation.
Korg and TC-Helicon: a combined technological effort
Combine Korg's effects and TC-Helicon's Voice Processing, and you end up with amazing audio quality and a wide range of options. Korg's advanced effect module has eight Stereo Digital Multi Effect processors that can be used simultaneously to add a nice dash of colour to the sounds you've created. Over 140 effects types - from reverbs to vocoding - are at your disposal. TC-Helicon is on voice processing duty, enabling you to create artificial voices to add to your music. Using the keyboards keys, MIDI or MP3 files, you can trigger four realistic voices and two double harmonies, all boasting excellent audio quality. To seal the deal there are five separate effects: Reverb, Delay, µMod and Megaphone + Hardtune.
400 preloaded styles and 1,200 style locations
The 400 built-in styles of the Pa3X offer an exceptional range of different sounds. There are numerous parameters that allow you to tweak each style, and you can use the 1,200 available memory locations to store your customised creations.
A well-organised, clear layout
The buttons and knobs of the Pa3X have been neatly ordered into sections. A neat, motorised tiltable TFT touch screen takes a central position - allowing for a pleasant working posture - and enables you to directly access the various functions of the workstation.
Songbook: a music data base with a search function
If you're using the Korg Arranger live on stage, you need to be able to quickly access its functions for smooth transitions. To that end, Korg has come up with Songbook, a fully programmable music data base with an easy search function. Each entry can recall a style, a MIDI file or an MP3 file, complete with the matching parameters, so you can get down to business straight away.
