General
The Jackson RRMG Satin Black is the legendary guitar with elongated top 'horn' that Jackson once made for Randy Rhoads and that was named after him as well. The model you see here is the black version (silk gloss) with a nice-looking, black aluminium pickguard. It has a neck-through-body construction which means that the neck runs through the body, made of balanced-sounding alder wood. This doesn't only look smooth but it also provides you with stability during playing and even increases sustain and directness of the sound.
RRMG Satin Black: tight, direct and flexible
Not only the build of the body, but also the ebony fretboard and the two EMG pickups guarantee an extremely tight, direct sound. The bridge pickup EMG 81 does its job perfectly when it comes to powerful sounds with a fierce bite and the EMG 85 provides a sound that is just as powerful, yet warmer and deeper. Hard rock and metal guitarists can look forward to the impressive tone-bending qualities of a rock solid Floyd Rose tremolo and an exceptionally comfortable neck.
Jackson Guitars
The renowned American brand Jackson Guitars was founded in 1980 by Grover Jackson and rose to fame with its customised V-guitar for Randy Rhoads. Today, many famous guitarists play a Jackson. Jackson guitars usually have an elegant design, a sharp headstock, shark fin position markers and a powerful sound, perfect for metal and hard rock. The Pro Series features many of the specifications of the handmade USA series, but comes at a much more affordable price.
