The asymmetrical body is based on an original Ibanez design and, together with the comfortable neck, feels highly familiar.
Construction
The mahogany body provides a warm, punchy sound which is complemented by the warm sounds of the 20-fret rosewood fretboard with maple neck. A distinctive feature is the ST-style jack input and the active tone controls, which turn the Talman 300 into a true all-rounder. It gets even more versatile, thanks to the pickup configuration: the Ibanez Dynamix P humbucker at the bridge and an Ibanez Dynamix J2 single-coil pickup at the neck. The humbucker can even be used as a single-coil pickup.
