Ibanez SR505L Brown Mahogany bajo de 5 cuerdas para zurdos

General

For the left-handed bassist looking for that full bass sound, Ibanez offers this 5-string SR505 from the Soundgear series. The SR505L Brown Mahogany will spare you any back problems, and is perfectly suited for playing longer sets with a wide range of music styles. Its versatility means that this is the only bass guitar you will need to show up with. The robust Accu-cast B305 adds stability and sustain. This natural Ibanez bass guitar is also equipped with an active EQB-IIIS 3-band equalizer, with a 2-way mid-range switch, for a wide variety of bass sounds. Sound is delivered through two passive MK-1 pickups by the renowned Bartolini company. These soapbars and the preamp on the SR505L provide a strong, full sound that cuts easily through the sound mix.

Ibanez SR505L: light, compact and durable

The SR505L-BM with its dark-brown mahogany body is a bass guitar with distinctive features. Where you normally find round dots, this bass has inlaid oval abalone position markers. The bolt-on neck passes through the two cutaways further than normal. This gives the Ibanez SR505L the distinctive look of the much loved Soundgear series. It also makes it much easier to play right up to and including the 24th fret. A closer look at the neck reveals five layers of wood consisting of bubinga and jatoba. This combination of wood types results in a neck that is light, compact and strong.

Ibanez SR bass guitars

For decades now, Ibanez has been providing consistently high-quality products, whether they be guitars, bass guitars or effects pedals. They still offer excellent products in both their entry-level and high-end ranges. The Ibanez SR was introduced as an alternative to the omnipresent American P and J-style bass guitars. And now, after some 25 years, we can safely say they've pulled it off. The SR shape has become almost as iconic as the two mentioned before, and over the years, the range developed to incorporate many different models.
