Ibanez SR300-MFT

General

The Ibanez SR300-MTF is a perfect bass guitar if you're on a tight budget but that doesn't mean that you'll get less quality. The SR300 has a body made of agathis, a wood type that is light of weight, strong and easy to process. The five-piece neck is made of three parts maple and two parts rosewood and is bolted to the body with four screws. This bass guitar is finished with a beautiful green lacquer that goes by the name Metallic Forest and is fitted with black-coloured hardware.
CAP EFX-N2 pickups
The EFX-N2 pickups greatly exemplify the innovative mindset of Ibanez: because they are arched, the distance between each string remains the same. This results in a balanced sound. The pickups are of the humbucker type, meaning annoying humming and noise is eliminated and a direct, bright and punchy sound is produced.
EQB-IIID
This Ibanez SR300-MTF bass guitar is fitted with an active tone control: thanks to the EQB-IIID, you have three separate tone controls at your disposal. A control for the low, mid and treble allow you to boost or cut their frequency range. Moreover, there is a slight difference between the mid-frequencies when you amplify or cut them, giving you a kind of preset of your favourite bass sound.
