General
The Ibanez Roadcore series was released in 2012 and one of its first models was this black RC320 BK. This guitar has a rather unique shape with its asymmetrical body that is slightly reminiscent of the classic Ibanez Talman. It seems as if the neck and especially the headstock come straight from an Ibanez Roadstar guitar from the '80s and in fact, the RC320 does have that familiar retro look that will be much appreciated by Ibanez vintage fans. Don't let its looks fool you though, because the RC320 has all the playing features of a modern Ibanez guitar.
Ibanez RC320 BK Roadcore: made out of the right stuff
This black Ibanez RC320 Roadcore guitar has a body made of mahogany, a neck made of maple and a 22-fret fretboard made of rosewood. This combination of wood types creates a full and warm sound with sparkling trebles. The profile of the neck is thick and round to give you that comfortable, vintage feel. Ibanez is known for its high-quality hardware and the RC320 is certainly no exception as this guitar is equipped with a Tight-Tune bridge that can be adjusted to all positions. This bridge provides better transfers of string vibrations to the body and allows for more stable tunings.
Core-Tone humbuckers
The Ibanez RC320 Roadcore has two humbuckers. These Core-Tone pickups were designed by Ibanez and produce a full sound that cuts through the mix perfectly. They're fit for vintage clean and crunch sounds as well as more modern high-gain distortions. With the 3-way switch you can choose between the clear and punchy sound of the bridge pickup, the deep and warm sound of the neck pickup or a combination of the two. Last not but least, the RC320 has volume controls and a tone knob for filtering the higher frequencies.
