Focusrite Forte

General

The Focusrite Forte is a portable audio interface for making high-quality recordings. It is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, and connects via USB 2.0. When you connect the breakout cable to the appropriate input, you can simultaneously record the sound of two microphones, two instruments, or one mic and one instrument in your recording studio software. Furthermore, thanks to the high-quality microphone preamps - which are also used in the top-of-the-line RedNet series by Focusrite - you are guaranteed professional-sounding results in 24-bit and 192-kHz quality.

Focusrite Forte user-friendliness

The breakout cable is equipped with two line and two XLR inputs so you can switch the input without having to switch out connectors. Additionally, sound of the Focusrite Forte is sent to a sound installation or active speakers via the two 6.3mm jack outputs. As you can see in the pictures, the control panel features an intuitive design, and is equipped with a touch-sensitive surface, an OLED display and a large metal control dial. It also comes with configuration software. Finally, this sound card is powered via the USB output, unless you switch on the phantom power for condenser microphones, in which case it can be powered with a 5V DC adapter.
