Fender Tim Armstrong Deluxe

Tim and his fans have been asking for it for years - this Tim Armstrong Deluxe. An authentic reproduction of Tim's personal modified left-handed Fender guitar from the '70s. Apart from the wear, this acoustic guitar is an exact copy of the original. It has a solid-top mahogany body with a 4-layer tortoise pickguard and a built-in Fishman sound hole pickup. This guitar comes with a luxury black Tolex case with gold-coloured interior and a leather 'Let's Go' guitar strap that were both designed by Armstrong himself. Tim's signature on the truss rod cover completes this guitar.

Fender Tim Armstrong Deluxe: the sound

This left-handed acoustic guitar has a concert-size body, also known as Grand Auditorium model or Triple O (000), which is more narrow than a standard dreadnought and usually has a brighter, less bassy sound. The sound of this guitar is sufficiently warm and deep, thanks to its all-mahogany body, while the maple neck and 20-fret rosewood fretboard provide clarity. Because the Tim Armstrong Deluxe has a top made of solid wood, it has a deliciously full, resonant sound. The nut and saddle are made of bone, for that little bit of extra bite and attack.

Fishman Neo-D Soundhole Pickup

Originally, this model was an acoustic guitar to which Tim fitted a Fishman Neo-D pickup. The Fishman Neo-D is a soundhole pickup that usually has a long jack cable affixed to it, yet is now connected to a jack input for practical reasons. The jack input also doubles as a strap pin for the included guitar strap. The Fishman Neo-D features an exceptional balance between the strings and a clear, sparkling acoustic sound that is perfect for both stage and studio.
