Fender's Japan PB62 OLB 62 has made it to this side of the globe so that us Europeans can now too enjoy the carefully crafted, persuasively vintage-styled instruments. This PB62 looks and sounds exactly like a 1962 P-Bass. Its notable features include a stylish metallic-blue body finish and beautifully contrasting tortoise pickguard and light maple headstock.
PB62 OLB: punchy and vintage
On the distinctive P-style basswood body of the PB62 there's a split single-coil Precision Bass pickup with the same manners as its 1962 idol: punchy sounds suitable for numerous types of music. Additionally, this guitar features the same bevels and relatively convex fretboard as the original '62 P-Bass. A vintage bridge, twenty vintage frets and a comfortable C-profile neck complete the picture.
